it was Bali-astic!

a few days back, the whole jin-bang went to Bali and guess what it was funtastic, exitenturous & both mind and body-blowing! if i were to tell what we've done everyday, day by day all the culture and experience and to top it off the shopping, shopping weh! in exotic Bali, trust me, i would just go on and on and on and on...see see! you know what i mean. but then again, sharing is caring yea so instead again, i'll let me pictures do the talking and some of the walking..bare in mind, it was all fun, plenty alot more, no less throughtout the whole 4 days when we were there! :D

seriously, damm chat lots of pics wei..so here goes;

First Day

there weren't anyone in the plane, well..at least no many people were getting on our same flight out to denpasar so we got row's of seat to ourselves deiz ..comfort section!

upon avriving, nothing but clear blue skies alongside the hot burning afternoon sun greeted us. rooms cater many many much channels and you blarddy know next where i rest my arse, haha. give and take, later after an hour half pass, i got my arse up and took a strool around my new found paradise!

*cam-whoring myself i did throughout the whole trip, lol..so bite me, im in Bali weh! dinner appointment was at 6.30 by the beach makaning fresh char-grilled seafood..food OMG, surroundings OMFG! later that night, we got a lil' taste of spending money in Bali at Discovery Mall..rp 1,000,000 is nothing wei, well if your a hardcore shopper. took a 10 mins walk back to our hotel and we kong-ed!

Second Day

woke up at hours that i was so not use to already since secondary school but what the heck and made our way to the coffee house for sarapan! omelette du fromage! and then..there we go, wee-wee-wee all the way across denpasar. got to a theatre to cultvate some of the Balinese culture of the barong-a myth belive of the balinese-come chinese lion dance punya lion with more elaborated detail and Wuallah!!

after the show, we stop by for some woodcarving shopping.they sell handmade dildo's there everywhere if anyone reading this is interested. bought loads of wooden balinese mask's and then it was makan time-time for babi guling-their version of siu-yuk fan! not bad, something different. after makan we made our way out of denpasar for more sights and sounds of more temples and sites! *more cam-whoring sessions along there!

pretty flowers at one temple..showing off my photography art..aheh lea, hahaha..and its also the temple which have a working spring..damm clear wei! of course, us ber-posing with our sarongs!

along the way between sites, locals rushed towards us selling local crafts and produce everytime we stop for pictures and potty-breaks..anyway but yea, the attention was coll, hehe, but at one point, no wait..all the time, it got crowded until it was like air wasn't free anymore..i serously couldn't breath but what to do yea, they are just trying to make a living!

in the evening, we return back to denpasar for a lil' shopping..again..at legian street..shopping street! FYI, it's also the place where the 1st Bali bomming occured and thanks to those terrorist monkeys, the tears of terror still roams..the plate above is home/shrine to those who didn't make it out that day so let's take a moment of silence..let's!

again, some shopping (make sure you guy's hassle from more approprite price-bargain kau kau weh) and some makan time where we wunk ourselves in some Indo padang food-kampung style! and its off to bed for us calling it our day!

Third Day

off to the beach it was for us today wei! started the day off bad..why? we woke up late for breakfast, lol :P but we didn't manage to waste much of out time and everything fell back to plan later. off to the beach to look at some of the water sports they have to offer but actually we are off to one island somewhat 1.5 kilometers of the sands.

on the island we landed, it was like "Animal Gallore"..more a less, a petting zoo with most of the animals you don't get to see often! well, there we got to hold some snakes-pythons, mammals like the fruit bat, birds like the eagle and the malayan hornbill but the creme of the crop there was the turtle nursery, the biggest one there weigh's almost a good 2 tons and there were also turtles whom were only a few weeks old..OMG, they're so goddamm cute!
it was great time spent on the island galliore but we have more sites to look-see, look-see. i was told that the next site is about 2 1/2hours away from denpasar so i took my nap in the van but we stoped halfway up to have our makan-break! food sucks although indo food but the view from the table literarily takes the bad taste away..see, see! yay! nice paddy fields (sawah) rite! lol
after lunch, we made our way up the mountain to find another temple built next to a lake on top of a mountain! alongside the temple was a garden filled with clipped hedges and bushes with many many trees! nice..cooling!!
later then, we left the temple and fled to the monkey temple near Ubut..monkey temple-nice..but monkey(sssss)-woohooo, they were like some mafia gang on the prowl to estort kacang from us wei! jumping up and across to distract and the smaller ones will climb up ur shoulders to go for the 'kill'..talk about strategy! that visit was somewhat a quick one and next came the infamous tourist attraction, Tanah Lot temple-the temple of earth and sea! all i can say, a fantastic place to watch the sun set as one stroll around relaxing taking one's own sweet with a cherry-on-top time! well, one thing for sure everytime you get going to a tourist attraction site-lots of people ..it was seriously packed and now with the sun setting upon the horizon, uh habis, heat coming from all direction turning my body sweat in to a fly-paper!

and since is kinda like our last night in Bali, our tourguide (suka) brought us back to the hotel to let ourselves refresh our state of hotness & stickyness back to clean and smell chun! so, made our way to a chinese restaurant for dinner-i reckon the food was good good la, kan at least they tried! after dinner, we decided to go and experience another night of walking back to the hotel, kan kena shopping yea..we started our little walk from Hard Rock cafe and hotel and made our way back crossing the somewhat bintang walk in Bali

full of shops, stuffs like Quicksilver, Globe and Volcom got their personal lots carrying not-at-all-exacly-cheaper-in -Bali products but i got myself a pair of croc slipers wei! can see my sister giving her bitch attitude already la..biasa, well, you get kinda exited when you go shopping so soemtimes one wouldn't get what they want fast espicially when you are in a big group so one just have to be a lil' more patient and to give & take ta times la..anyways..walk, walk, more walking, stop and got drinks at the bar..walk, walk, sampai hotel..KOed!

**check out the croc's weh! Croc's gallore!! :D arrrrrrrghh!! yei!!
well, knowing the next day would be our last one here, i did tell myself that im going to make full use of all the hotel stuff that they have to offer..well, basically, make use of the hotel weh! woke up for breakfast quitte early and to my beloved, untold suprise, yay! i was there 1st amongst my family! *a tap on my back..che!! and so i ate..and ate..and ate till i was stuff! went back to the room to quickly sort my luggage out.
well, that took me over like bloody good 3 hours! no pool~no sea~nooo~eh..eh, i did get my bubble bath!lol..well, i did get enough for that past 3 days. time to check-out came fairly fast. tourguide came and took us to the airport and there it was, all wraps on my chun-tastic trip to amazing Bali as i sat in the plane waiting for the meals...
to tops the highlight of the trip..i got sick back here..ok tank que!!~

selamat happy Merry Christmas

Twas the night
::
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
::
::
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

give it away

a song, a title, an inspiration, priceless memories..

well, i tried figuring out a title to suit this very special post but nothing came out from this blarddy brain of this boy here till this song came about on my iTunes! so go figure,a title that rings Langkawi all over, personally to me la, as im writing this post dedicating out to 1 of my bestest pal as he's moving, literarily moving to the islands up north of the peninsular!

as i was sitting, chilling out with the coffee on the 15th of Oct along side my other pals, dougie and jane, i got a call from a rather familiar but then, but still unfamiliar number on my cell. obviously gua picked the phone and ka-bang!! exitement came rushing in like booze i had the night before into my head from someone i haven't heard in a good full month! 1st line he said "I'm Back" and sekaili gus i knew the other fella on the receiving end! hahahahaha and hehehehehe, serious sh*t! was all i said wei! serious!! all because of the fact that it was the first time he came back since he moved to Langkawi to persue his music career. i did felt a moment of dis-belive but the the matter of reality sets in! -matters like, sh*t wei, now im gonna have a hangover everynight and cash's gonna swin away wei! lol, LOL, joking wyn!

later that night, i went over to his place where we meet up! and since the "welcome back" hug i gave him, we had countless yum cha sessions as well as its share of parties and drinking sessions! the wynton we knew never changed, still the smelly walpo that left for langkawi four 1/2 monts back! only difference; he's botak and he's a lil fatter! NO wei! much much more fatter, lolz! as great as it lasted with a touch of some con-stories in between where he's going back, nothing's changed, we had fun, we had moods of irritation but better yet we had booze, lots of em!

"time goes by when one's having fun" was all it takes to potong our stim as it was time for wyn to go back to the islands but this time around, he's moving there! the whole bunch! but well, we ended he's trip down to KL with a banging party and a massive drinking session! chunted!! so wyn, memories gained?
-a brand new kembara
-trips down to Starhill, Tiffin's Bay with great performances
-Aryton's Amirah sessions
-ol skool drinking
-multiple drinking sessions all over Old Kland Road
-cut-throat, money swimming, sly-calling poker game
-KLFC's wanton mee
-head-cracking, IQ using warcraft tower defence game's
-shane's new house
-Sun Raj mamak sessions
-your futsal aiming leg games
-"chillout" BRJ mamak sessions
-movies at midvalley
-our gentalmen's bet
-scandals, hehehehehe!! lolz
-singing in car sessions
-A&W waffles
-emma and kyle and last but not least;
-rosemary wei!!!

but what the heck, you'll be coming back and we'll have more better memories! who know's, maybe you'll come back with little wynton's running around so whatever it is, you take care of yourself back there! we're all just a phone call away till you get an internet connection but till then, the phone works for us here in KL and you guys in Langkawi!
so, cheers mate! missing your irritating laugh already! haih!!

the lad's paryer

"Our beer

Which art in barrels

Hallowed by the drink

They will be drunk

I will be drunk

At home as it is in the local

Forgive us this day

Daily spillage

As we forgive those who

Spillest against us

And lead us not into

Practice of poncey wine tasting

And deliver us from alcopop's

For mine is the bitter

The ale and the lager

Forever and ever"

the avriving of the departing

i was told by my dad and so as my other family members that upon someone's death, there will come a day that we aren't allow to venture around the house for a moment in time as the soul or as many will say, the spirit of the dear departed will return to the places he/she has visited in his past life will return to check on the family they left behind accompanied by two fearsome guardians of the underworld from the chinese myth/legend, the Ox-Head & Horse-Face. according to the elders, if eyes are set upon them upon avriving as they pass thru, o-ooo! it will just be plain BAD!! Teruk, Tak Baik, 'mm Hou' (not good) or 'mm hou choi' (bad luck)..u get the picture rite! o.o

momentarily, i had just been thru my dear grandpa's departure and we are expecting the day my granpa's visit to come and it's for a few hours' so we are all advised to stay put in our rooms. in a way im terrified but also in other way, im interested in knowing more of the chinese myth's coz plainly, damm interesting weh! but yea, tough luck so far coz this is only what i got from my sourse-of-all-info, Wikipedia.com though the date is set by the priest's from the day of the servise down at Nirvana Memorial Center. all i can say is, im trying to be brave and hope the time pass! im very much human as the others!

"Ox-Head (牛頭) and Horse-Face (馬面) are two fearsome guardians of the Underworld in Chinese mythology, where the dead face judgement (and punishment) prior to reincarnation. As indicated by their names, one has the head of an ox, and the other has the head of horse. They are the first people a dead soul meets upon arriving in the Underworld; in many stories they directly escort the newly dead to the Underworld (apparently some try to run away). Usually, the two are mentioned together (牛頭馬面)." -Wikipedia

-posted here in the memory of my grandpa as in the mean time, thought you all might be interested as i am!

the cycle of life...it goes on

it's unpredictable. it's very unpredictable. it can take a turn on one's moment of one's life in a split second yet when one's unprepared espicially, he/shen break's down. but in a sad yet selfish way, it's the fear of that unpredictability and uncertainty that make life worth living and not a bore. it's fun! but though, when it hit me, i felt that pain, like life's crashing down on you but dont give up because for that one's person courage to stand up and face that uncertainty gives courage and inspiration to others. well, that's roughly the week i had been through, filled with so much unpredctable casualities.

well, i did have fun! me and my friends did. from late night dotA matches to our usual mamak sessions and now to Starhill Gallery for a cup of luxury and glam at Tiffin's Bay. tha place s fantastic! imagine having a cup of your favourite drink in an atmosphere of mixed ambience of lights and sounds. great deco, fun lighting, sophisticated beverages came with fun food filled with great people whom create fantastic jazz. again, i came equipped with my trusty touchscreen camera where again, we went all crazy yet again, lol. props to the soliano's for their yet again another head-banging set of fantastic jazz pieces wei.so what do one get with a touchscreen camera at hand + a room, well, a table full of US..feast your eyes :D get 'WOWed' wei!

then came the other side of life when i experience somethng out of the ordinary, i felt a feeling that i thought i won't be feeling anytime soon but then it came on that morning itself. ths is the same million of butterflies in my stomach feeling i felt last year before two of my close relatives passed on last year! then the unpredictable happened as it as it was my grandfather's turn to be moving on! as the news broke out, mourns of silence and sadness filled the room like a smoke from a fire. at one moment, it was heart to take a breath but after digesting the fact that my grandpa has really moved on only everything went calm of the fact that it was old age and not other complications. but what to do yea, life goes on as the next day was the funeral services at Nirvana Memorial Centre where it lasted for 3 days.

in a way we all did feel the exaustion but we all could never choose to have any other ay that to be with you there grandpa! though he had moved on to a better place, his memories will stay with me till th...who knows yea! sitting in my room blogging, i can cearly remember what his advices are but the most common one's goe's something like this..in cantonese!

" In the Warring States period, the Chu State had a very capable minister called Zhao Xixu. He was well respected and held in awe by the people of other countries as well as his own. One day, the king asked his ministers "I hear every state in the north is afraid of our minister Zhao Xixu, is that so?" At the question, almost all the ministers kept silent except one called Jiangyi, who liked to curry the king's favor very much. He lost no time to seize the opportunity and said, "Your Majesty, you know, it's you who people awe and respect, not him! Have you ever heard the story The Fox Borrows the Tiger's Terror?" Well, here is the story.

One day a tiger was hunting around in a forest. An unlucky fox was met and caught by the tiger. For the fox, the inescapable fate was very clear -- death. Despite the danger, the fox thought hard to find a way out. Promptly, the fox declared to the tiger, "How dare you kill me!" On hearing the words the tiger was surprised and asked for the reason" The fox raised his voice a bit higher and declared arrogantly: "To tell you the truth, it's I who was accredited by God to the forest as the king of all the animals! If you kill me, that will be against the God's will, you know?" Seeing that the tiger became suspicions, the fox added: "Let's have a test. Let's go through the forest. Follow me and you will see HOW THE ANIMALS ARE FRIGHTENED OF ME."

The tiger agreed. So the fox walked ahead of the tiger proudly through the forest. As you can imagine, the animals, seeing the tiger behind, were all terribly frightened and ran away. Then the fox said proudly: "There is no doubt that what I said is true, isn't it?" The tiger had nothing to say but to acknowledge the result. So the tiger nodded and said: "You are right. You are the king."

When Minister Jiangyi finished the story above, he added to the king: "It seems as if the northern neighbors were afraid of Minister Zhao xixu. In fact, they are afraid of Your Majesty just as the animals were afraid of the tiger not of the fox." The king was very pleased at Minister Jiangyi's words. And never doubted its truth.

A closed mind is like a closed book; just a block of wood "

I Love You" and "I'll MIss You" yeh yeh!
