..simply means the "Soceity Republic of Vietnam"..read it out loud and it gives a cool somewhat weird 'ring to it ya?..hahaha.."WOW-zza" this is feeling weird yet fimiliar! hahaha, it so weird-out now and the feeling of getting-use-to again is getting unto me here again..its been a while man! well, since i log it, wrote something here for everyone out there to see..i apologise for my absence here and there..ive been busy man..real busy and okey, unlike working, im constanty having my head lean towards my drafting table guiding my pen & pencils for a job well done work till late nights most of the time..heck, till now, they are still piling up faster than snatching candy from the baby quote-actually-done!

but too, i did got myself a 'M-C' leave from my almost daily routine on the weekdays and head up north where the land becomes the 'River Interior' it was worth it, the 5 days there up in Hanoi/ Hà Nội/ HAN which ever one makes you happy calling it, its all the same! man, upon arriving, everything went to hectic calm yet adventurous..youd have to be there to understand! haha, but yea, Hanoi was cool!..overall, not to mention Bali the last time, the changing and the calculatons of the reverting currrency matter came back..this time the đồng with the many, many, many zero's! yes! the '0' fear yet made simplifiel with the USD but still fear of the '0'..anyhow, pictures will come soon all togeter with the whole trip story-time! till now, assignments!!

okey..i know..WTF yea, after missing in action for like what..1 week? and here i am now, blogging for just simply amusement to get the bore out..yes, im blogging in class on my laptop whilst lecturer is in front speaking blah-blah-blah..hahaha.nevermind, the reason behind for all these time i havent been blogging is that, well..simply been busy with loads of asignments..

so anyways..i just finish my lunch and yes..im kenyang weiz! ok, enough time here,i gotta complete up another assignment now so ciaoz for now..i guess i will continue back at home later in the night..

weekend fun

lots had happened thru out the recent weekend man! whut a way to start the weekend or to end the days of rough week eiuther way but janji, it was all fun! the to add and brag about all around was our latest big thing & that is shane's birthday over at pearl international hotel where we got ourselves a room on the 15th floor. Man! it was a great night overall of course with the few not-so-great moments thats not worth mentioning. drop that...overall a total night of fun laughter with great memories to keep as we head to our young adult-hood-ness period..haha!

21 wei..though i didnt bring my camera along that night but of course, we'd still manage to get some load full of pictures curtosy of jane's cybershot! "the pictures turned out cool man janie! props!" and too, in addition, we have a video capture of the whole entire party scene of don jon's video cam and wynton behind the lens..na, nanana, naa! actually, cut here and there minus the 'emo' parts *the basic ingredient of a perfect, good-hell-of-a-time party we noticed* and voilla, a great video of shane's 21st!

again the room they got was a cool one..on the 15th floor, we expected a great view which where by, we got, excess all around, easy as it was in the middle-kindda-near to most of us as its along old klang road area..our area..ITA / ITI's area..haha and to top of, alcohol everywhere all around the room! we were blasting music, having a time of our lives, drinking, chatting, catching up on old times with old chaps of our groupie..much much more and nothing more less, we all did have our fair share of little 'downs' and loads of 'ups'! end up plak, some stayed in the room as most head home throughout the duration of our buddie shane's fantastic party!

besides that amazing highlight of the week..the month so far, i have plak my boring assignments due sometime days to come so yea, im working hard there though only having three classes in the week..elo, i have to try coapng again in this new environment of my field wei..some presentations have to be getting ready for, both in groups of two and too individual ones and assignments of both typing and sketching here and there..what to do yea but to do! sunday plak was a day's out for me and my family as we got ourselves psyc-ed out as it was Mothers day..overall again, sum up all in one word..KOOL-NESS where we had a great dinner to end that fantabulous night of celebrating the love of our mums! yeay! other that that, im still surviving life, im still with the guys mostly in the night, still inprisoning myseldf in my room sometimes in the TV room, in front of the tely doing my assignments! no change, same-O, same-O boring me..anyways..

yes!

its another 2-1 hoohah of a party later tonight wei and this time, it belongs to mr my man Shane sta Maria and the venue of the huge celebration? a hotel suite! hahahaha, yes-ness! so right now, i shall again post our last party of the 2-1 big hoohah last week belonging to Chucky's and this is his big 2-1 cake! *last post of the party no pictures* thanks to Jane's camera and later after this up & coming another party, ill have the pictures up myself here so expect some good pics! yeay!

actually is the states so it should be actually safe trip but what the heck ya still carry t he same meaning..hehehe.actually, i just got the news from a trusty blog page of a friend so yea, sad but true, my very good friends sister is leaving for the big U-S very very soon..to be percise this saturday ya? but, honestly, we are all here gonna miss her for shes been like a sister not only to my friend but too to all of us! i know how weird you actually feel jane, haha..one moment she's here and the next shes going to move to another country! yea, its kindda sad but its great too to know that shes going there to start anew and too have everything else there feel new again, but most of all, take care of your self ya sandra! at least we still have the other 'Tan' hanging around here within our grasp! haha..& actually, The Story of a Girl has actually really just begun~!

i cant really say much now with my head clouded with much to think and clarify about but to end this very post dedicated to ms Sandra Mae Tan without interuptions of my personal problems, here's to safe trip over and a good experience into life! we will miss you alot and you will have two countries to call home now! till the..please do post posts on your blog so we can read! haha : D

done some after wait-ness

im anticipating a few things not only counted in total this month but a few other things this year.. come to see, this year will be a good one not that i mentioned a few months ealier..it was chuck's birthday bash last night and it was a one cozy party by the yard he put all together, from the time we arrived with food/dinner catered with choices of the delightful colors of the ABC ais kacang up to the casual fried noodles to the red hot curry chicken to the pale pink prawns and to top off with little finger food of spring-rolls and fried chicken wings! all this of the catering services, i must add, the service arent too bad too where you have waiter..a few here and there..& waiteress..i didnt see any though..clearing the tables of empty plates and glasses quite efficently..come to add, the setting of chuck's yard was rather cool with the sound off water falling whilst dining with paved leveled ground for the authentic, classy look & as it couldnt get any better, imagine the whole place with manicured plants of bamboo to little english-bush-lookalike plants around the border of the house come another gazebo section further in! came his cake, it was a huge 2-1 and it was filled with fruits..yeay man! ive got the kiwi section, haha..and for the rest of the night? we ended up having booze and playing various drinking games which made most of us laugh our arses off the stool! great night for a great friend!

other than the party, speaking of movie wise, some of my friends came to the party after watching the new spiderman 3 movie and the after-comments from them..no suprise from them when they said it was all great! so as of for me, its one down and many more to come n time as i wait anticipatedly for other blockbuster screenings and to mention that little few..the popular ones are the mighty transformers and the swach-buckling thrid installation of the pirates of the caribean trilogy and too harry potter to debut somewhere in the end of this month of may! next month plak, we will have fantastic four: rise of the silver surfer and thats another wait on the long queue! here and there are somewhat my movie countdown of the season!

as for the case of shrek the third, so far the next big thing on everyones list..i did some surfing of that crude humor, swashbuckling action comedy of a movie and here are some screen caps!

we will have Mike Myres (Shrek), Cameron Diaz (Princess Fiona), Eddie Murphy (Donkey), Antonio Banderas (Puss In Boots), Julie Andrews (Queen) and etc. aspiring their roles as former characters of the fairy tale story with some new faces to add, Justin Timberlake (Artie..short for Arthur) and Eric Idle (Merlin) to mention the few appearence of the other fairy tale princesses..its gonna be a blast watching this third installment wei!

and thus introducing the princesses whereby we will expect Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Reppunzel *correct spelling uh? lol* doing their 'thang kicking some oh-so-cute-sprinkling-pixie-dust fairy tale villian arse!

like how it was by stating on the post before this, ive been sick these last couple of days due to the lack of liquids in my body and yea, so on and so forth, ka boom, went ill plus-plus the weather did contribute some help there! but as of today, im glad to say that im recovering and now what's left are some minor coughs with flam and the my nose is still running, no suprise there! : )

drink lots and lots of water people for the newspaper even reports, the weather all around will be going a little bit cookoo due to the global warming effects and as even reported, if this situation continues, in 20 years time, give and take..we here in malaysia will experience life in africa as the climate will be quite similiar of droughts and a constatn heatwave will occur not to mention this can end life of heat-strokes and dehydration as reported on last thursday's papers..al gore did sucessfully manage to open a handful of eyes around!



with effords being done, i did manage to catch the new release of the spiderman flick and after watching it, i must say gwen stacy (Bryce Dallas Howard) is hot! saw that jazz piece scene? Great!! hahaha, but actually the truth, venom (Topher Grace) is a 10/10 in my book! *you might remember him from That 70's show?* the effords made to bring sandman (Thomas Haden Church) into reality was a force to reckon with plus-plus the fight scenes..fantastic and after all that, i finally know the reason that why spideran 3 is schedule to be released in IMAX theatres around! everything about the movie from the 2 1/2 hours length to the not-so-cool 'emo' parts, i must say the movie did give ones perception of spiderman..actually all heroes alike that they are very much a human than any one of us, experiencing the ups and down-fall's of life has to offer..overall, it gives a softer perspective unto spiderman which i bet people can relate too as much as the difference of having superpowers or not! i also did like the fact that they didnt rush the movie but they brought it up a step at the time and how it corresponded with the past 2 spiderman releases! me? i would deffinatly own a copy of the movie once it releases but the mean time, IMAX theatre, u wait for me! i wont want to spoil the movies with details here, just go watch it! if youre already a comic book fan, no arguements there but if youre not, i would say, its worth it!




anyways, its chuck's birthday bash tonight and i guess im feeling better to attend so gtg!

1 year had past

well, sort of..neglacting my absence for that few months ealier since i started this blog due to those unforseen circumstances..long story short, let the past stay history and we shall move on to the present, its a happy birthday to my blog! haha, 'About a Boy' is turning 1 and i must say, it has been a journey here..at least for me but anyway, ill continue to stay 'innocent' in years to come! lol, wtf!

Happy 1st Aniversary Birthday to the site! yeay-ness!

anyways, back to reality, the last couple of days was kindda like a rest period of moment for me, not much as what i did or do but here and there there were a little fun involve, as emntioned, it was labour day/wesak day and actually, i didnt bother much to go out to places..wow, something new this feeling here wei..as i thought places, everywhere would be jam-packed with people/cars and plus-plus, the weather here has been quite screwed up so what i did was i stayed at home to do some catching up on my assignments and the tv, yes the tv and there, were a couple of quality moments i shared with my family as i sat at home..astro brought in a few new channels, 2-3 channels after 73 are tamil-speaking channels and there is 1 after those few channels in particular which got me jumping off my sofa a little, literally up and then down momentarily..recap back to my last big holiday, bali..every other time whenever im back in my hotel room, i would turn on the tv and i will kindda only watch one channel there, well..actually is the only channel which got me entertained most of the time and now, syok to say, E! entertainment is here in KL on astro!

other that the stucking my face on my telly, assignments are so far going smooth as silk..not to say im siting down goyang kaki every other time but smooth here i speaking is that ammont wise is mediocre yet is not a rush to hand them in! so yea, im getting there..on monday plak after college was a guys day out in KL mostly in bukit bintang area as i met up with wynton, don jon and shane late afternoon and later around 5-ish 6, charmane joined us guys as we jalan-jalan till late 9-ish..i tell you all wei, haha, that day was intense! it was walk-walk for more that about 5 hours and within those 5 hours spent around bukit bintang, i must say, its pretty productive, most of us got our mission done, don jon won the bet we made, shane got teddy and yea, we went home with body ache's and tired spirits! : D

skip foward to now, here and there, i have entertainment..self-claim whenever im at home, will have family members come over (aunties, uncles, cousins, etc.), nice food served around for my mom and dad were at home due to the holidays and my quality time on the telly and today i was quite looking foward to this week's american idol episode..not to mention it was rock week and the fact, they got bon jovi as their mentor..there! 2 of my favourites combined! it was quite a look-foward experience to me the whole past week and afraid that it may arrive a dissapointment (the final 6 were not the 'rock' genre thing if you know what i mean and Gina was no more) but i eneded up being entertained as the final 6 sung thru Bon Jovi's classic's! they were all fantastic performances but Blake's one got me the chills..im not suprise if blake takes home the American Idol title now being that contemperory artist that he is, my prediction as of tonight, Jordin & Blake! here's what i mean and his rendition of 'You Give Love A Bad Name' actually did paid off!

now on to bed d wei as i call it quits, plus-plus not feeling well d..haihz! biasa la me never have enough liquids under the influence of the shitty weather!
