back to school with highten sights & sounds

some happenings before my main article..haha, well, post about my 1st day at a new college and such so yea, i just uploaded some photo's from my cell and "Wow, did it or did it not turned out great!" hahaha.. *for the sake of pujuk-ing myself only* ..anyways, as usual, nothing much has been going on here but hanging out with the rest and trying out some new spots (cafe's) all around to chill and go minum-minum for the sake of just the fact comes to show that we dont consume much liquids..okey, lame-ness..haha, yea, mainly the evnt for last weekend was the celebration of mr.Low Edwin's birthday at citrus park's secret recipe! dude, Happy birthday again, no..Belated Birthday to you! it was all fun there and much cake to be makan-ed so yea, i did have a good time! lets remminence a little, same as kyle and the rest of the setia guys, i knew edwin for almost 14 years ++ already..ei Kyle, Wyn, Shane damm long already wei, hahaha!

it was on the last saturday when i got the call from adelyn whom told me about the party that yee ling planned for to edwin so yea, it was suppose to begin at the usual dinner hours..maybe 7ish 8 so yea, last minute, i came to my own conclusion..actually conclusion came itself..i only can be there at 8ish 9 all of familly dinners and programs planned! do, did, & done..i join the rest at secret recipe and there, i had cake! haha, new york cheese cake to be exact! *weeeee...*

the para hadirin-hadirats were adelyn, weng hong, yee ling, edmund, ah teng, 1 friend my senior back at setia whom i forgotten her name and a pair of love birds whom too i forgotten their names, haha, sorry guys! oh yea, not forgetting the birthday boy in the bunch! we eat and some ate some more and next came the birthday cakes (brownie), yes with the 's coz there were 2 brownies served as the birthday cake! camwhored a while with my n73 camela and next thing you know it, presents were being forced opened, haha..forced! i got the big suprise that night..hehe, not the birthday boy, i pulak! unexpectedly, some where in between the commotion of the singing and the laughing, i got a tap, a hard tap on my back, so i turned and i look and then only i saw it was a friend from college..lim kok wing..classmate that i easilly have not seen in ages! since i left la..we were then doing the 'catching up' chant on the rest as well and its great to know that your classmates are doing well! surviving la in college terms! so yea, "ian, take care ya..catch up some other day at the mamak table with the rest!" : D


after that it was all jokes on the table..we continued laughing till the bill came crashing down! so yea, the night of another friend turn the big 2 1. on sunday pulak, it was futsal with the guys and woilla, my weekend! haha..now, fast foward to yesterday as i begun my new term at a new college (Raffles Design Institution, formally known as LaSalle)..*hehe..history lesson yesterday, see! see!! i pay attention ei! haha* wth new surroundings fill with new people and new kacau-ing feeling of butterflies in the stomach though i been thru this before..well, yesterday, was told that we were required to attend the college for its the orientation day or some sort on the wednesday morning, yup..so yea, went there..actually started to make my way there as i left home at 755am thus with the bad bumper-to-bumper crawl on old kland road, as usual la every morning..i sampai KL sentral at 840 with more than half an hour to spare..parked my car and made my way to the putra line..the whole time, i couldnt keep my eyes open man..seriously! i havent waken up this early for so long! haha, kudoz..and yea, took me about 10 minutes to get into the train for the long queue at the deck. 15minutes journey to ampang park station with 20 minutes to spare so i took a slow not slow-slow walk! sampai in time the there i was, in a ne college... *you get the picture!* wrap things up, it was all good there, environment? just takes time to get use to, freinds? met some yesterday, lectures/program leaders? great fun..they are more crazy than the whole orientation room lea! wish me luck! X )


made my way back by 12ish so i decided, "you know what, im sleepy, ill get a coffee at coffee bean!" off i went! sat down outside with a magazine and a cig on my hand, i was flipping thru the pages..dont know why, i just didnt feel like reading the KLUE magazine i favoured every month! moybe the tiredness is kicking in so i did, i stared out to the road! i did the noticing stare..not the blank one..haha, and you know what, i came up with a theory with good theoratical facts..haha..of the cars parked alongside the road! it wont make sense! i can promise you that..its just some stufid survey i did out of sheer bordom add a dash of sleepiness! : S

-it takes at least 7minutes between each cars to come out free-ing their parking lot

-and it takes approximately 5 cars la before someone secures that empty parking bay and then you go back to pointer 1..around and around! haha

i told you! hahaha, so and yea, thats my day..not night though..me, dougie and jane went to this new place along kuchai road, a new cafe, deep blue cafe where we got to experience good deco, good ambience, good drinks, good food and great sofa's! yeay! later meet up with kyle, jared and gerard at brj pulak and so, thats all folks..tadatadataaadaaa..looney tones!

fantasy much

well well well, another spelling error done by mua, haha..sorry, mistakes happen when one types like speedy gonzalez espicially when the post expected is long long longer than a 5 meter string..wtf! haha but nevermind..people makes mistakes..for my case, funny ones, hahaha..oit, astrid, hamish semalam tak datang play futsal wan? you oso tak datang..apela!! ; P

ok okey, back to business..i myself have been in some trance state of watching/catching a movie..at least one before my sleep so yea, ive been doing some catching up guys..watching exceptional past blockbusters & yes, im a little bit outdated in that area but same same too, i did watch some new movies..well recently released movies and they were great! fantastico..some i must say were least as what i expected but others were awesome! beyond words kind..

first up, i gotta say, i did enjoy watching "Bridge to Terabithia" and lets put it altogether as is in the same genre, "Pan's Labyrinth". thats 2 though but anyhow, yes..i enjoyed myself..bridge to terabithia is a fantasy flick taken from a novel writen by Katherine Paterson and was directed by director Gabor Csupo, you might remember him from shows like the rugrats & sereval episodes of the simpsons..yeap, a cartoon director..haha, explains the flick? so yea, bridge to terabithia is flimed all over new zealand & it tells a story of a young boy, Jesse Aarons (Josh Hutcherson), a shy but aspiring boy living in a not-so-well-to-do family trying to be the fastest boy in his school as he trained all summer. came race day, he was joined by his other classmates and this new girl, Leslie Burke (AnnaSophia Robb) *doesnt she resembles actress Kiera Knightley at a certain angle, well..a younger version, hehehe, happy-nya* whom eventually won the race. rough start for those two but came to each understanding later on as both learn something out of each other; Jesse's skilled art and Leslie's talent of telling fantasy stories thus creating a magical kingdom to call their own, terabithia in the woods behind their houses. back in the 'real' world, they delt with normal problems of bullies and crushes but then came one day when a tragedy hits one of them unexpectedly. guilt came pouring in but friendship prevailed thus keeping the world of terabithia alive! the power of one's imagination! keng-keng wei!

Pan's Labyrinth/El laberinto del fauno is somewhat similiar but it takes a more gruesom, sick, almost saddist turn of a typical fantasy flick! also another chun movie, directed by Guillermo del Toro (Blade II, Hellboy, Hellboy 2, Bable, etc.), its spoken/told in spannish. *this flim did got its fair share of awards last year ++ this year too* set during the post-Civil War Spain in 1944, it tells a story of a young girl Ofelia (Ivana Baquero) who is obserted in her fairy tales who travels to the countryside with her pregnant mother Carmen (Ariadna Gil) to meet ofelia's stepfather Cpt. Vidal (Sergi Lopez) whom is more a less can be said a fascist devotee, keeps grudges from his past and release them out on his 'enemies', the republican rebals. as the story continues, ofelia begun to witness strange happenings and characters that lead her to a labyrith in the later quarter, first time she was stopped by Mercedes (Maribel Verdu) where she met the fictional Pan, a faun, guardian of the labyrinth (Doug Jones) who reconised ofelia as the long-lost Princess Moanna. ofelia was then given three task to be completed before she can return to her throne beneth the grounds of the labyrinth! there were few scenes that was really sickenning but overall, it was all good! both flicks features amazing, graphically endowned skill packed alltogether in the creation of the fantasy creatures in both films! amazing-ness! : )

last but not least, 300 directed by Zach Snyder adapted from a self titled graphic novel & another movie, the 300 spartans for the purposes of reanimating the Battle of Thermopylae between the spartans and the persians! not much to say here, the reviews and the gold stars collected from various media presses and websites say for themselves! all i can say after watching 300..the dvd version..meaning the uncut version is so darn magical to watch! hahaha, yea..just watch that flick if one hasnt..that 10 bucks you spend on the dvd..ahehlea, fake one? : P or the movie tickets wont go to waste..actually, it should be more come to look at it! anyways, just watch that movie, no regrets!

month's end

again, another month is coming to an end and it comes to show how fast time is passing us! oh well, its been quite a week though for me, much suprises to anticipate and too, much solving to do for those other kind of suprises, mind me! but yea, "whats been going on? whats been going on?" im asking myself this very moment im typing the words for this very post

first off, kyle has been accepeted into uTAR and he's officially a student there.the pj campus and not the far far away kingdom one all the way in kampar, nope..the pj one! Congrads man! speaking of colleges, me too am starting next month already at raffles design school..Hoorah! and im officially starting on the 9th of next month! fantasti-cool-ness! : ) ..besides that, me and kyle had this chicken rice at satelite for lunch and end up, the damage done was rm36++-37 worth of chicken rice! we were really hungry then! yup, nearly forgotten, halfway eating, boyfren & girlfren flies were having the time of their lives and they flew into our food! yup! *yeeeeeeeik*

oh and besides that, nothing much to brag about here but some pictures on the streets i took with my portable camera on my hp that still rings funny! before i post the pictures, have you guys, well not particularly for those who play foosball but everyone that has seen the usual foosball table, seen the lenght of this foosball table? i got the picture some time back, maybe last week when i was at the curve for the movies and Wow!, i started wondering to myself, imagine playing this one on one! now, thats a 'shot'! *tapping hands on the table*

oh, got the news, linkin parks latest album; minutes to midnight is coming out/released on the very same day with shane's birthday.cant wait! started to wonder what happened to them after the long rest they had since the collision course album corrosponding their performance with mr. jay-z! another picture of a new age mickey! yeap, that bery mickey mouse we knew when we were all back at our younger days, that funny blurrish voiced of his we all got charmed unto..yea, and now, featuring the new age mickey! *pic* hes actually marlyn manson on the cover for his new album; Eat Me, Drink Me dedicated to the happenings of his past year, the survival and his failed marridge, i think to the famouse burlesque dancer, dita von teese! i guess we wont hear that catchy mickey song there wei!

the joy of laughter

funny how the simplest things in life can make us laugh when you really put your heart and soul in the looking part and less at the expecting part.

like so, it was a day out with me and kyle today, well more a less to be more pasific (specific), we went scavanging around pj area the whole afternoon, kyle needed to get his uTAR thingie done and me, i was just the designated driver for the day and oh yea besides that, i was there for the food-searching part. it was productive for us ok, kyle got his stuff done for the day and me, i had the joy of pleasuring my taste buds with kfc's o.r chicken which has been lingering there for a while since this morning..kyle got his cheesy wedges and me, i had 3 boobs to fill me up, minus 1 for kyle la besides the usual dinner plate of 2 boobies and a leg..equals to 1 cacat-ed chicken lady..lol

you guys know how hard it is to get a parking space in the middle of the afternoon within pj state area around the mppj building ya. i had this particular trouble that nearly drove kyle sane with all the luck that we had..if it wasnt one car behind, it will be one car and a stufid motorcycle driving in the middle of the road or another car la but yea, what luck we had man! and ironically, i was wearing this horse-shoe chain around my neck i got myself in royal selangor..pewter summore lea! so kyle came out with a theory, do NOT give chance to another car at the next junction or turning and so, i though "ok, why not". so i did and guess what, we proven that right or maybe luck has change her side on us, we got a parking space withing 2 minutes later and that too i inserted kyle's advice/theory to my actions in an extreme way..

*get it? go cheaw rubber stamp!!*

simply, jeep backing out with reverse lights on, me behind another waja, front waja overshot a little, tried to back a little, i came closer, front waja couldnt reverse, front waja gave up, jeep backed out, i masuk, front waja double park on the row in front on the lookout for more parking , i got the 'stare' from the lady behind the wheel! well, its everyman for himself wei..its a doggie dog world out there! haha..sorry again waja licenced AEM 3188 but i did found a small scratch on my left door..would you be the reason why? if so, karma la! hahaha..

coming back pulak, we cut thru federal to get back over to old klang road via sungai besi and so as we were along federal highway in front of midvalley, and so we were figuring out whether should we cut out straight to old kland road by going up the fly over or go under going thru taman desa and come out on the seremban highway/sungai besi? reason, to avoid as much traffic as possible!

choices, choices! really, it was quite mind-disturbing and in my head, it was like should i choose the road bright road(going up) or the dark road(down) like what you see in fantasy movies or cartoons..one i get alot! and so i voiced out these choices to kyle and so he replied.."dude, you've been watching too much cartoons la" and he thinked a while..in my head pulak, i was ready to thake the dark road well, simply because in cartoons the brighter road always means danger ahead..and so did and guess what..less jam!! haha.yea, and that goes to show, cartoons are sometimes handy in situations! and so like this, thats the little adventure we had!

oh, and too, marcus, my other buddy remixed the fall out boy latest hit, this anit a scene.. into his own version and i must say, inspiration came upon him by his favourite character on this arcade console Capcon vs Snk, yuri sakazaki! kuchi-kuchi! *god know what that means but thats what she'll say/quote whenever she wins a battle!*

langkawi's 21st

well, well, well..the long awaited post dedicated to the fun, sisi-fied,round-round destructo, sea-boy konon, haha, mr zakaria bin walrus's aka walpo aka wynton's birthday bash celebrated all the way up north in langawi island..the theme, beach party! now that..ill go slowly into but first the trip down it self..wooojorhh..penat siut but fun..yea, fun-tastic-ness!

post langkawi was hectic for us when it came to our tickets, bus tickets..thanks mi for the help..heeehee, we manage to catch the plusliner bus leaving from pudu bus station which left downtown kl at 11pm..the one & only bus going down..nono, up! direct bus and yea, hectic why? haha, we got our tickets a few hours before 11 on that very same day the bus is taking off! yea, actually, i got myself there the day before to get the tickets but see see yea, the ticket counter guy..smelly guy la, as in attitude smelly..told me that i can only secure the tickets, my tickets on the very smae day the bus is leaving..ade such thing ka? meaning, i cannot buy my tickets ahead of time! haih but thank god, not many people were going down to kuala perlis/padang besar that night and too, at the beginning it was only me and shane but just minutes before we got to the counter, charmane whom i believe has got mind reading abilities called us at the last minute and voilla, its 2 become 3! the more the merrier! haha..well, got ourselves ready for the night, pack our stuff and with douglas's help, he got us to the sri petaling lrt station for our ride to pudu and then up the bus!

considering the first day

bus ride was horendeous! bumpy but the plus point, speedy! it only took us 5+ hours to reach kuala perlis, an hour ealier that our expectation but i manage to 'kong' myself whilst in the bus..upon reaching, shane secured places in this bus konsurtum for our journey back and off we went to the jeti..we ate some ok only food at the nearby mamak and got ourself on the 7am ferry out! another quick ride on the ferry, only 45 minuites, 30 minutes quicker that the usual according to wyn and thats it, we were in langkawi the next few minutes! again, i got some sleep! later after that, plans went a lil bit hectic again while i chum down breakfast..details not important la here for that matter butthe next thing you know it, we were riding in style to berjaya resort, 45 minuites ride from the jeti in a new honda accord! yeay! *reminder, the birthday boy has still no idea we were down in langkawi* sampai berjaya and off we got swept in to the resort shuttle to kyles room, 2041 yea kyle! OMG!! the resort is beau-oo-tiful! again, got our self in to another crazy ride of up hills and down hills faster than you can say "oh my god" but still, i got myself looking at the resort's peaceful setting..and too, hanging on to dear life! is as though we can fall out anytime with all the crazy turnings the driver was making! we all got our arse's soar la!

down the tramp/shuttle and into kyle's room! we rested, and took showers freshening up and here comes one funny part! before we slept i took my hp and set the alarm 1 hour ahead thinking i want to explore the place while watching this show on vision 4..what, nell? and the next thing i know, i fell asleep..actually, we all fell asleep..3 of us; me, charmane and shane slept on one single size bed! believe it or not! and so back to the alarm..an hour later, my ringtone for the alarm, give it away by deepest blue came ringing! i was still nicely sleeping..but it woke shane up, haha, sorry shane..and so he tried to wake me up thinking it was a phone call but i continued sleeping! after few seconds, i woke up..just barely and took the phone but i forgotten to off the alarm. again, shane woke up and called out to me but still, no responce until kelsea, kyle's younger sister came and shook me..only then i turn it off..now, shane has a fobia with that song and to me, it still remains to be my favourite song..sorry shane! i know i smelly! : P

later after that, us all check out form the rooms and off we headed to this place along cenang beach called the tomato..a mamak..and there it was, mission fright begun! me, shane and char hid behind first..behind tomato whilst waiting for the other car with wynton to come..once arriving, the fright time begun with shane going out first..he went out took a chair and just sat next to wynton..reaction: priceless..a shock with his quote, "ehhh, what the hell you doing here!!!" *nearly jump off the chair*, second, me pulak went, went around the table as though i just came out from the toilet took a chair and sat down saying "the toilet damm far la!" reaction: a second shocked same quote, last but not least, charmane pulak's turn as at the same time kyle went to take makan but pass it to char..kyle sat down and char was like the mamak fellers who was bringing kyle's order extended her arm behind wyn with the plate of rice, reaction..super mega shock with the same quote but this time, he nearly fainted! hahah..chun ya wyn.. as so, there it was, our mission down to langkawi..the end!

hahaha, not even close to the end! we sat down makan while looking at wyn's face..seriously, his face showed so much emotion that youd thought he is a retard, lmao!..overjoy+shock+hungry+worried+tention+exited+comfort! hahaha, priceless! yade, yade..we went back to perdana, said our "hi's" to the family and off we went to freshen up for the party of the century! lol..the summary of the whole partyby the beach? no time we did felt bored! we were eating and drinking..seafood galore on the grill tops with chicken, bihun, curry devil and some salad on the table. bottles and bottles of liqures with 2 barrels of booze lasted long to quech our thirst..foojoh! came down to the cake, bladdy wyn got 2 la..2 delicious ones wei! *jealous-lea;ous, haha* and of course presents from the family..what else..oh yea, and he got thrown into the sea! yup, the sea by his cousins and us, well, us flimmng the whole scene..shane has the video! that i will post when i get the chance! we were mainly drinking and drinking and drinking till we all fell..hahaha, well, i definately got high and so it was for me and shane that night..at 2+3 i think..didnt care less as we fell asleep! again Happy Birthday Wyn! : D

the 2nd day under the sun

the next morning was difficult.most of us got little sleep, some with after high effects shown on their faces and some felt sick-ish! we manage to hold ourselves together and got ourselves ready for lunch again..at tomato, shane didnt get to enjoy the second day much as he was the one feeling the sick-ish effect as kyle gotta send him home to perdana to rest as pulak, we 3; me, wynton and charmane went over to the backpart of tomato to this small little shack cafe-like bar overlooking the beack to kena some beers! we were chilling and no too long after, kyle came back to kena booze with us! chatting and cam-whoring..haha, for me that is..and too, we played frisbee over at the beach..damm fun la for kyle watching me ran after the frisbee like a dog chasing one..but i think the dog would have done better job that me la because kyle was throwing like one kind! haha..most of the time, i was chasing the frisbee as it rolled towards the sea while cursing, lol! mind me la..oh, but there's this one time, i threw over to kyle so ngam that kyle recieved the frisbee balanced on one finger as it spun on it! damm cool-ness lo! haha, went to sing thye that night at kuah to kena the thai seafood/tomyam dinner..makan-makan and we went back to perdana for some drinking! on the way we played this game D.O.N.K.E.Y..detail of the game soemtime later but the loser has got to do the donkey cry..yup, and yes, im the one kena the penalty!

what else that night..yea, we makan some good sh*t problem pizza la aka masalah pizza on cenang and too with another serving of this 4cheesy pizza with toppings of only cheese..for different types of them, feta, parma, mozarella and cant remember one more but dougie, jared! you guys would love it so much, full stop! we then went back and minum summore with another game of M.O.N.K.E.Y, same concept but this time mr.birthday boy kena la! "oo akk akk ooo" haha.played some drinking poker next and that, we finished..almost a 2 litre st. edwards! neat!

the final sunrise in the islands

again the next day, woke up with a little hangover effect with some of the guys not sleeping or tired after that fun-thrilled night but as we know we got to accept the fact, we were going home that very day! we had to forced ourselves to move and start packing our stuff and we manage to with little time to spare, we said our goodbyes and off we went, to the jeti..so afraid we would miss the bus..230 pm, we kinda multi-tasked a little, bought our ferry tickets, did a little shopping of chocolates and perfume and off we went, into the next ferry off..thannks again wyn but again hectic..bout 1 hour ferry ride and off we did la, some amazing race thingie as shane carried my backpack and i ran towards the bus startion few metres away! damm close to missing the bus la i tell you but see-see as we know, the bus ride was delayed a few minuted because the bus we were suppose to sit in couldnt start! nevermind..we took our breath!

moments later, we went up the bus as it was ready to take off and again..nice ride, not bumpy, comfortable seats..complaints? yes one! actually i have 2 la..the family in front of us, parents and a 6 year old kid were so damm bladdy..whats the other word for selfish..yea, inconsiderate towards others as they have to put their seets so low that the almost touch the floor..what about us sitting behind? haihz..i tell you! no mercy! haha, another one too..the air cond! woojohhh, is like being in a fear factor stunt with cold air is blowing from all sides! eiiiii, and of course, me being the softie, lol..was shivering the whole way thru! but then but still, we manage to tahan and after a 7+ hour ride, we sampai kl pudu..caught the next train out back to okr and violla, in dougie's car, again, thanks dude..we were back home! not after a meal at mcD's la of course..

and well, basically, that was the whole trip! we manage to accomplish the reason going down and ++, we came back having more! again. Happy Birthday Wyn! u take care there ya!
